Food Safety Team Leader

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Shall be referred as the HACCP Team Leader and Internal Audit Chairman
    Shall act as Management Representative as ordered by the top management
  2. Review project status for FSSC Certification and other certifications as ordered by the top management
  3. Communicate effectively with department managers / heads / supervisors, MR and top management especially on matters related to food safety
  4. Control of the correct application of the quality and food safety documentation
  5. With full authority and responsibility manage a food safety team and organize its work
  6. Ensure relevant training and education of food safety team members
  7. To ensure that the food safety management system is established, implemented, maintained and continuously improved
  8. Report to the organization’s top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the food safety management system and any requirements for corrective actions and continual improvement
  9. Assess and recommend training needs related to the on-going implementation of Bonpack Management Systems to department / section managers, heads, and supervisor
  10. Liaise with external parties and regulatory agencies on matters relating to the food safety management system
  11. Implement the HACCP plan, monitor prerequisite program standards, monitor safe food handling practices, maintain appropriate records, and train workers.
  12. Responsible in monitoring the organizations food safety KPIs (Key   Performance Indicators)
  13. Conduct 5S to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of his/her assigned work area

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably Industrial, Chemical or any business- related course.
  2. At least two (2) years experience specializing in ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005 and Internal Quality Audit.
  3. Excellent root cause analysis and problem solving skills.
  4. Excellent team management and interacting skills.
  5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications.
  6. Has an excellent oral and written communication skill.
  7. With good analytical skills and has proven ability to work under pressure.
  8. Ability to deal with all levels of people in the organization.
  9. Can work with minimum supervision.
